About

Somali Parent and Children’s Play Association (SPCPA) is an organisation in Tower Hamlets working with children and families. The charity is supporting Somali parents and hard to reach young people as well as young people with special needs traditionally aged 8-16.

Our young people are aged 13-19 and also come from neighbouring boroughs.
SPCPA mix educational, motivational and fun activities together to make an attractive package of events designed to involve and inspire all local children to take part. Our target is to integrate all young children within the borough.

SPACPA provides a lot of play activity from four different locations within the borough of Tower Hamlets. Our services are delivered after school hours, weekends and during school holidays.

The organisation has a good reputation of providing a safe and trusted environment for young children which enabled SPACPA to tackle disadvantages and inequalities that derive from child poverty and social exclusion, and to maintain the concept of every child matters by giving those children the chance to experience normal childhood in safe play.
